Who is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), also known as Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), is considered the final prophet in Islam. He is highly revered by Muslims as the last and final messenger of God (Allah) in a line of prophets that includes figures such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, among others, according to Islamic belief.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Mecca, present-day Saudi Arabia, in the year 570 CE (approximately). At the age of 40, he received the first revelation from Allah through the Angel Gabriel while meditating in the Cave of Hira. These revelations were later compiled into the Quran, the holy book of Islam.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is not only recognized as a prophet but also as a model for ethical and moral behavior. His actions and sayings, known as the Hadith, serve as a guide for Muslims in matters of personal conduct, ethics, and religious practice. His life, teachings, and actions are collectively referred to as the Sunnah.

Muslims around the world hold deep respect and love for Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), often using the honorific “Hazrat” or “Peace Be Upon Him” (PBUH) when mentioning his name. His teachings form the basis of the Islamic faith, and his life is considered an exemplary model for Muslims to follow.
