Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, seen in this HubbleClassic image from 1999, has captivated astronomers for centuries. A giant storm , you will love to see. Astronomers always have a different interest on the Great Red spot.
It’s a vast high-pressure storm, spinning counterclockwise like a cyclone. Its winds can reach up to 270 miles per hour (435 km/hr)! Stronger than any of the cyclone in the earth.
The Great Red Spot is the largest known storm in the solar system, clocking in at almost twice the size of Earth and one-sixth the diameter of Jupiter itself. It is a real monster.
